The Blue Grey Cattle sale is now held at Lockerbie Auction Mart. 2022 date: 18th October 2022.
Newcastleton
Newcastleton Auction Mart is operated by Harrison & Hetherington and was built in the 1880's. It holds the oldest Suckler Sale in the British Isles and the largest sale of Blue-Grey Calves. It has only slightly changed since it was built in the 1880's. The mart ring has an open top roof.

Haltwhistle
Sales of Blue Grey cattle were held by Harrison & Hetherington Ltd., at Haltwhistle in the Spring and Autumn until the Auction Mart closed and the site became a supermarket and housing.
The last sale of Blue Grey Cattle at Haltwhistle took place on Thursday 24th October 1985.
