Whitebred Shorthorn Autumn Sale 2023
A total of 14 animals were forward for the 2023 Autumn sale of Whitebred Shorthorns.

1st prize bull and Supreme Champion winning the AD Tweddle Perpetual trophy and the George Bell memorial trophy went to Hottbank Muckleman sired by Blackburn Jethro out of homebred Hottbank Lucy 29th. Muckle man, a 30 month strong, quiet Bull and proven sire of Blue Greys was bred and produced by JRF Pattinson and son, Hotbank, Northumberland.
He sold for 3000gns to Mr A Haggas, Skipton.

1st prize female, winner of the Ian Henderson Memorial trophy and reserve champion went to Glentyne Snow Holly 3rdsired by Glentyne Grafter out of Longley Snow Holly. She was bred by MG & J Taylor of Low Arvie Farm, Castle Douglas. A classy type pd’d in calf to Burnedge James.
She sold for 1500 gns to Mr M Tomkins, Hallsford.

Corrie Ruby 15th a good example of a well grown cow with her heifer calf Cawfields Emerald sold for 1600 gns.
