Harrison & Hetherington Ltd conducted the spring sale of Whitebred Shorthorn Bulls and Females on behalf of members of the Whitebred Shorthorn Association on Friday 24th February 2006.

The pre sale show was judged by Mr D Kennedy-Moffat, Lochmainling, Auldgirth, Dumfries who awarded the Championship to Parton Legacy a December 2003 bull bred and exhibited by Messrs Hewson, Parton Farm, Wigton.

Sired by Parton Surprise with the dam line going back to Murtholm Premier this bull failed to reach its reserve in the ring, but sold later at an enhanced figure.

The Reserve Champion Bloch Ross was bred and exhibited by Messrs Bell, Bloch, Langholm. Sired by Murtholm Parky this bull realised 1600gns and travels back home with the judge.

From the same home, Bloch Flint an April 2004 bull sired by Burnedge James, realised 700gns and finds his new home at Harwood in Teesdale with Messrs Dent & Nixon, Peghorn Lodge.
