The Cumberland and Dumfriesshire Farmers’ Mart
P.L.C. held their Annual Kirkcambeck Sale on Saturday
16th October 2004.
A catalogue entry of 1,386 was presented to a large ring of local and distant
buyers, all classes selling at late high rates.
Featured in the sale was an outstanding selection of Blue Grey and Galloway
bullocks which sold at rates well in advance of vendors expectations.
