WHITEBRED SHORTHORN SPRING SHOW & SALE
Friday 27th February 2004

Harrison & Hetherington Ltd conducted the spring sale of Whitebred Shorthorn Bulls on behalf of members of the Whitebred Shorthorn Association on Friday 27th February 2004.

Bloch Duke
Champion - Bloch Duke
A small catalogue of 8 Bulls saw all entries forward, The judge, Gordon Jackson, Blackburn, Newcastleton. awarded the Championship to Bloch Duke a June 2002 bull bred and exhibited by Messrs Bell, Bloch Langholm. Sired by Bloch Farneyshield Trevor this bull fail to reach his reserve price and left the ring unsold.

Third prize bull and first bull into the sale ring Raeburnfoot Rascal from Messrs Walker, Raeburnfoot, Eskdalemuir, Langholm realised 2,100 gns and travels to Caithness with Messrs N & J Erridge, Watten House, Watten, Caithness. Who also paid the same money for the second bull into the ring. Reserve Champion High Creoch Bombadier, a March 2002 bull bred and exhibited by Messrs Gilligan, High Creoch, Gatehouse of Fleet.

Burnedge Pele 2nd an April 2002 born bull, sired by Burnedge Lancelot also travels North, writing a cheque for 800gns was Mr A Dawson, Rossal Farm, Pennyghael, Isle of Mull.
