Monty - Champion Autumn 2003 sold to join
the Longley Herd for 4,500 gns. |
The Whitebred Shorthorn is a very docile traditional
breed and has the ability to thrive on poor grazing
in harsh conditions. The cows receive only hay
or silage throughout the winter.
A testament to their longevity is Murtholm Holly
2nd who reared a bull calf in 2004 at 16 years.
